Everyone came marching to the Shores of the Music that day e.e. and his big balloon crying whee touched down on the sand and the tri-colored beach ball said, “Yellow”-“white”-“Red!” all day long as the children smiled and the elderly laughed and everyone in-between decided that they were all the same after that and the Sun said, “Bright.” and hung lower and lower still Skin glowed gold and bronze and Feet said, “yum, water, wind” and bags crumpled and chips crunched and Everyone was brave again because they were alive and safe by the city, by the sea and the silent sounds of waves yet to be broken |
